General observations part 2

Since we missed the bus which would take us to Cordiliera Huayhuash, we´re having a lot of time. Thus I decided to continue write about my observations.
Traveling here I realized how much similarities is between India and South America (and sometimes with Morocco). Of course I compare with those countries because I have visited them. I have and impression it has a lot to do with how poor or not the society is. And since all those mentioned are on the same (more or less) level of development they have similar habits and solutions.
What is funny they have similar public transport. Small buses or taxis to which may fit 8 people, just pick up randomly met people. In those small buses work 2 people - one is a driver and the other is a person selling tickets and yelling on the street where the bus is coming etc. In India there were even 3 people - driver, ticket seller and a person who let the driver if everybody got off/on and the bus can go. Seems like it is the way to increase employment in public sector.
What more, the markets looks similar: there is one old lady who sells bucket of tomato or potatoes, the other has a bunch of flowers (btw. this society must be really nice because they love flowers apparently - sell them so much here). They just sell what they have.
When I saw in Bolivia for first time the rickshaws I wanted to run away! Haha, suddenly I reminded of India and all those people bugging you. But here they are not that pushy and if you tell them "no" they walk away and don´t bother you any more. Crossing the street looks the same - in main arteries you have to wait sometimes for few minutes to cross. They honk quite a bit here but not as much as in India - as of now India beats any other country in the world considering amount of honking.
Last few days in the mountains are so funny because every single person who we met were asking what time is it. We were wondering what is it for them because they don't have a watch at all so why do they need the time? No idea, but anyways. But all people met on the trail were very nice but what quite amazing - almost no tourists even though Cordiliera Blanca is very popular here. Mostly the creatures met on the way were donkeys, half wild cows and horses. Lot of people apparently, browse their cows and other animals in those mountains. Just leave them for few months, they have all to live there and after some time they have already grown up animals for food. And since there is not too much people all around - those animals behave as half wild and are really afraid of humans.
As of now, dunno what more, can´t remember what I wanted to say. It will come step by step.
